Rising South Wales producer, Dellux (a.k.a 20-year-old Elliot Brussalis), has shared “Fool” a track from his forthcoming debut EP Dreamer, due out on April 1, 2016 via MTA Records.

Dellux started making his mark at just 14 years old when he manned the most popular slot on Newport City Radio before diving into music production after buying Reason 3. Fast forward two years and he was approached to join Cardiff collective Astroid Boys as the group’s primary producer for their unique take on grime, hip hop and hardcore, and joining them on support slots with everyone from Lethal Bizzle to Trash Talk.

Now Dellux is stepping out on his own with his debut solo EP, which he describes as “a musical amalgamation of everything I like and listen to regularly, from slow jamz to dance music and a whole lot in between.” After sharing ferocious title track “Dreamer” and the grime inspired “Pipe Up,” Brussalis now shares “Fool” which he explains making below:

“Sometimes I think its too bare and it needs more, but I have to remind myself that it is different because it’s stripped back, more about the vibes. To me, the lack of vocals actually make the vocals stand out more and the lack of percussion make the simple 808’s resonate.”

Accompanying each track is a distinct piece of artwork photographed and created by Brussalis himself.

Ahead it the EP’s April release, “Fool” can be streamed in full below.
