Multifaceted Brooklyn artist Laurel Halo has offered up the closing track from her forthcoming Quarantine LP for Kode9’s Hyperdub imprint, which features her honing in on an entirely different vocal style than we’ve heard from her before. “Light + Space” is a drifting, magnetic ballad, one rife with ambient washes and soft synth tones providing a gorgeous backdrop for Halo to try out her vocal approach. The album will be out on May 28 in the UK and June 5 in the US, with a live performance on April 20 at the Unsound Festival in New York.
