Bucharest duo Claudiu-Eduard Balan and Andrei Predoi (a.k.a. Vinyl Speed Adjust) will release their Carpe Diem EP on Visionquest this week.

Following on from releases on Pressure Traxx, Gilesku Records, and Colours in Music, the EP presents three typically trippy and heady techno tracks, fitting in perfectly with the sound and aesthetic of Visionquest. Kicking things off is the low-slung title track, “Carpe Diem,” which is an infectiously groovy cut with slicing percussion and icy pads. The tempo and tension is then turned up for “Divider,” the EP’s hallucinatory peak-time cut, before “Circles From Field” closes proceedings with its shuffling percussion and intricate sound design.

Carpe Diem will be released via Visionquest on September 11 and, in the meantime, you can stream the EP in full below.
