As popular mythology has it, TB Arthur is a Chicago producer whose test pressings from the ’90s only began surfacing late last year. Three of those 12″s—the most recent of which was reviewed by XLR8R—have been distributed by Berlin outpost Hard Wax over the past few months, and a fourth EP is now due for release. Entitled Tracks from DAT, the record’s acidic techno workouts were allegedly mastered from the original tapes and become officially available on vinyl on April 10, although copies are already in stock at Hard Wax.
