Colin De La Planteour (a.k.a The Mole) has a new album on the way, De La Planet, via Maybe Tomorrow.

De La Planet is the third full-length for The Mole, landing just over four years after his last one, Caregiver.

We’re told that it “stays true to his ethos of weird above all in the best possible sense,” although it feels “distinctly new.” It comes from”tapping his enormous reservoir of vinyl and sampling the odd film” which has “acted as a complement to the jaw-dropping arsenal of synthesizers at de la Plante’s disposal—a battery of machines he’s been quietly improving his skills on during the past few years.”

In addition to this, the Berlin-based artist has announced his first U.S tour in over 21 years, hitting San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Detroit, and Brooklyn in September.
