Verboten StageONE to Host Black Coffee, Matthew Dear, Art Department and More at Art Basel, Miami
The pop-up event will take place at 540 Nw 23rd street in Miami from 1pm - midnight on December 5.
A staple of the underground music scene in New York City, Verboten has been delivering quality music to the residents of the Big Apple for over a decade before touching down in its permanent residency in Brooklyn and in turn hosting some of the biggest and most anticipated shows in the five boroughs. The end of September saw the completion of Verboten’s third edition of the wildly successful StageONE summer series, bringing in acts such as Jamie xx, Maya Jane Coles, Moodyman, David August, DJ Koze, DJ Tennis, and many more.
With the winter cold rolling in and the plausibility of throwing an outdoor event being slim, Verboten has decided to migrate down south for a special, electrifying edition of StageONE in Miami for Art Basel. The sunshine state will see an huge incursion of new and exciting parties that will feature great talent such as the Touch of Class warm-up party and the Bardot & III Points party with James Murphy and Jacques Renault. It is safe to say that the StageONE day festival will be one of the greatest musical highlights of the week, featuring a list of heavyweight talent that would be foolish to miss.
The starting lineup includes Nicola Zanatta, Kevin Castro and Cuartero who will be followed up by a DJ set from the exalted musician and Verboten resident DJ Matthew Dear, South Africa’s electronic gem Black Coffee, and Jonny White of Art Department.
The event will take place from 1 pm – 2 am on December 5 at a pop up location in Miami on 540 Nw 23rd street.
You can purchase your tickets to this event via XLR8R.
