Matthew Cooper of Eluvium (a.k.a. Martin Eden) has just released the video for his new track “Verions.” Cooper, who initially caught our attention earlier this summer with “Worker” (which actually made our list of the Top 20 Downloads of July), has clearly been busy making new music. After dropping his self-titled 7″, he’s back with a full-length album called Dedicate Function, which is out now via Lefse. “Verions” is lifted off that release, and furthers the minimalistic and mellow vibes of “Worker.” Though the song may be a touch repetitive, the visuals add diversity and aptly complement the vibe. The footage—featuring both animated and live action shots of the world and the sky—fades and expands with the swellings of the synths in a kaleidoscopic fashion.
