Russia’s Nina Kraviz is a busy DJ/producer, one who is constantly travelling around the globe in order to bring her brand of warm-blooded techno and deep house to eager dancefloors. Now, we have a new chance to take a glimpse into the lifestyle of an in-demand DJ such as Kraviz with Between the Beats, a new mini-documentary which follows her along a few recent European dates. Produced by Resident Advisor, the 10-plus-minute film intersperses footage of Kraviz’s DJ sets amongst an ongoing discussion of the highs and lows of her life as a touring jock and what it takes to consistently be at the helm of the party in a different city almost every night.
