Detroit techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson recently chatted with FACT TV while sifting through some stacks of wax at London’s Lucky Seven record store. Saunderson speaks candidly about his son Dantiez Saunderson’s increasing involvement with his KMS label, going on to explain how Dantiez’s musical persuits have also inspired him to create new music. Saunderson goes on to discuss buying his first record (Alexander Robotnick’s Ce N’Est Q’Un Début LP), talks about how lately he only searches for vinyl that he can’t find digitally, and concludes his session by elaborating on his upcoming “Origins” showcase which will be featured at Detroit’s Movement festival this May.
