This week saw London producer Sully drop Blue, a double-pack of jungle-indebted cuts, via Blackdown‘s Keysound label. Born Jack Stevens, the boundary-pushing producer has now shared a glitched-out video for the EP’s title track. Directed by Michael James Lewis, the high energy in this piece does not come from movement within the frame, but rather, from a rapid montage of jump cuts that feature simple shots of architecture in sepia tones. The sterile and hyperactive demeanor of the film serves as an appropriate counterpart to Sully’s finely detailed production. The full clip for “Blue” can be watched below.
