XLR8R is offering XLR8R+ subscribers one free LP from Kratos Himself, with a choice between his albums Stay True and Loon Garden

Downtempo artist Kratos Himself has been quietly building a strong reputation since his first release in 2011. The Dutch-based producer and vocalist crafts timeless pieces of music that combine organic and electronic textures to gorgeous effect. His debut album, Loon Garden—available on yellow-splattered vinyl—was released in 2015, with Stay True—available on baby blue vinyl—following a year later in 2016. Both LPs were released on New York and Los Angeles-based label Youngbloods

As a token of our appreciation, we are offering current XLR8R+ subscribers and those who sign up now the chance to get one of these LPs.

For those who haven’t subscribed yet, you can do so HERE. Once subscribed, email your full name, subscription confirmation page, address, and chosen LP to [email protected]. For current subscribers, simply email your full name, address, and your chosen LP.

Due to limited availability, the LPs will be offered strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. Subscribers are eligible for one album only. You can find more information on XLR8Rplus and the offer below the streams. The eighth and current edition of XLR8Rplus is here, with subscription details here.

XLR8Rplus is a monthly subscription service that allows XLR8R to continue to support independent music and journalism. Every month, we release a package for our subscribers, which includes three exclusive tracks from three different artists, a dedicated artwork and PDF zine, ad-free browsing of XLR8R.com, and other goodies along the way (sample packs, discounts, playlists, content etc.). So far, we have released eight editions, featuring tracks from Roman Flügel, Wata Igarashi, SIT (Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia), Vril, Janeret, Alex Smoke, Scuba, Huxley Anne, Fred P, Homemade Weapons, John Dimas, Cosmin TRG, Hunter/Game, Einzelkind, Robert Dietz, Forest Drive West, Julia Govor and u-Ziq, plus a sample pack from Daedelus.

XLR8Rplus costs $5 a month and each package, including the tracks, is only available to download for one month and only from XLR8Rplus—you won’t get the tracks on Beatport, Spotify, or any other platform, and only subscribers for that month will get them. At the time of writing, edition eight has just launched with exclusive tracks by Levon Vincent, Bruno Pronsato, and Lawrence—Levon also offered up the stems/samples of his contribution for producers to rework into their own productions.
