UK producer xxxy (a.k.a. Rupert Taylor) is set to return to Doc Daneeka’s Ten Thousand Yen outpost later this summer with two “cybotron futureproof rave burners.” His most recent outing, the “Never Enough” single for Rinse, dropped earlier this year and featured two slices of dancefloor-ready, pop-leaning house workouts. This forthcoming effort, however, will reportedly offer a rougher listening experience. According to the press release, title track “Goldfish” functions to “pull you in, mangle you up, and squash you out the other side,” while the flipside’s “Evade” will appear on a “hands in the air, vapor jets in Amnesia” tip.

Goldfish is due out on August 4, and the upcoming record’s artwork and tracklist can be found below.
