Having previously operated under the moniker Morri$, the now LA-based producer Philesciono Canty reemerged as P. Morris earlier this year, issuing his Debut mixtape under the new alias in February. Now, Canty plans to follow up that release with a new EP, Beloved, which will arrive later this month. Set to drop via the artist’s own Bear Club label, the record will offer six new productions from P. Morris. Though not included on the EP, the man’s “Lunette [incomplete]” track is said to indicate which direction Canty’s dark, hip-hop-leaning beats are heading. That track can be streamed in full below where Beloved‘s artwork and tracklist have also been included; the EP will see a digital release on October 28.

A flurry of impressive new mixes have surfaced online from Berlin producers Objekt (pictured above) and Palms Trax, as well as Numbers affiliate Deadboy and Sound Pellegrino label co-head Teki Latex.

First, we have Objekt’s mix for self-titled’s podcast series, a 40-minute voyage into dense electronics which is said to highlight some of the musical reference points which helped form Flatland, his forthcoming debut LP for PAN. Objekt’s new mix can be streamed and downloaded below, while its full tracklist can be peeped here.

Secondly, Berlin transplant and Lobster Theremin affiliate Palms Trax (who, we should point out, is a regular contributor on XLR8R) has put together the latest mix for the Electronic Explorations podcast series. “Electronic Explorations is a series I’ve been listening to for a number of years,” he tells the site, “so I wanted to record something that drew heavily on the sort of sounds it has exposed me too. It’s fairly hazy, and probably the most ‘techno’ mix I’ll ever make.” Palms Trax’s full new mix—which includes cuts from Donato Dozzy, Black Jazz Consortium, Terrence Dixon, and more—can be streamed and downloaded here.

Next, the latest mix for the Truants blog comes courtesy of Numbers affiliate Deadboy, whose session includes a number of forthcoming productions from the London artist, including a collaboration with fellow UK beatmaker Murlo. Lastly, Parisian DJ/producer Teki Latex recently shared his Deconstructed Trance Reconstructed mix, which blends drum-less “grime tracks with trance influences and naked synth lead loops from proper trance tool albums” with “hard-hitting drum tracks from all genres” for an intriguingly unique session. Said to have been mixed entirely live on three CDJs, Teki Latex’s new mix can be streamed and download below, while a full explanation of the concept behind it can be found here.

Before it lands via Steve Mizek’s Argot imprint next week, the upcoming Aquifer EP from budding Detroit artist Community Corporation is now streaming in full on XLR8R.

On Aquifer, the rising Midwest talent presents four diverse explorations into slightly unhinged and soul-steeped dancefloor material. Opener “Crystalis” cuts gliding strings and jittery synth melodies with a stumbling shuffle and bits of amp noise, while the following “Patent Lies” and “Subterranean Limestone” utilize jacking drum-machine patterns to lead the way through their soul-swung, synth-soaked runs; leaving “Sunken Water Table” to close the effort on its most abstract note with a production that recalls the futuristic jazz explorations of Afrikan Sciences and Aybee.

Community Corporation’s Aquifer EP is set to land in stores on October 14. Before then, the record is streaming in its entirety below.

Brooklyn loft party-turned-record label Mister Saturday Night (helmed by DJs Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter) has revealed plans to issue an 18-track mix album recorded live at one of the crew’s August parties. Entitled Weekends and Beginnings, the mix clocks in at 77 minutes and incorporates tracks from Motor City Drum Ensemble, Mr. G, Anthony Parasole, Bassclef, and more. Recorded at one of the pair’s outdoor summer parties, Mister Sunday, the set is said to actively shift shades and tempos throughout, making it “just as suitable for home and headphone consumption as it is for a party.”

“Before we’re producers of parties and guys running a record label, we’re DJs,” the pair expressed in the mix’s accompanying press release. “Everything else we do with Mister Saturday Night and Mister Sunday comes from our desire to play records for people. That’s what we’re putting forward on Weekends and Beginnings.” Mister Saturday Night’s upcoming mix album will see its release on November 18; before then, the record’s full tracklist has been included below. Kompakt has shared a full stream of Legende, the most recent offering from longtime label affiliate Matias Aguayo. As we reported back in August, the EP deviates slightly from the percussive, vocal-driven style of Aguayo’s earlier material; here, the Berlin-based Chilean producer (who also serves as the head of Cómeme) makes use of lush, dreamy synths and sings in German for the first time. “Legends are memories,” Aguayo says of the concept behind the EP, “but memories of a glorified past, that becomes legendary only in our mind, not necessarily in reality.”

Druture—formerly one half of the duo Grown Folk—has detailed an upcoming EP for Grizzly, sharing a stream of EP cut “High Tide” in the process. Slated for release later this month, Uh Oh! marks the second offering from Drew Kim’s solo project; following his departure from Grown Folk, the Atlanta-based producer reportedly began delving back into his early love of hip-hop and grime, which resulted in last November’s “ode to the Chicago rap scene,” Out of Towners Vol.1. This latest effort includes collaborative tracks with both Grizzly label head Sinden and Dro Carey (a.k.a. Tuff Sherm), and also commissions remixes from Ango and Aquarian.

Uh Oh! will see an official release on October 13, and until then, the premiere of “High Tide” can be heard in full below.

Pop surrealist Lucrecia Dalt has shared the lead track from her forthcoming 10″ for Nicolas Jaar’s Other People imprint. The Berlin-based artist—who largely deals in cerebral electronic music—will deliver Dalt later this month as the successor her 2013 LP, Syzygy. Making its premiere via Boiler Room Debuts, a-side cut “Esotro” is described as “a prime slab of bass driven minimalism” and can be heard in full below, before Dalt (tracklist below) sees an official release on October 27.
