As we reported a few weeks ago, UK house stalwart Huxley is preparing to release his debut full-length via Aus next month. Now, the label headed by Will Saul has detailed the album’s first single, I Want You, which features a remix from labelmate Youandewan and a “club rub” from Huxley himself. “I Want You” is said to be be one of the producer’s “deepest cuts to date,” combining layered melodies, rounded percussion, and vocals.

No previews have been shared as of yet, but a tracklist and artwork have been included below. I Want You is due out on October 6, with the ‘Blurred’ LP following on October 20th.

Italian producer Giuseppe Tillieci (a.k.a. Neel) has shared details of his first full-length, set to be issued via the Editions Mego sublabel Spectrum Spools. According to Resident Advisor, Phobos (artwork above) “encompasses the largely ambient material that Tillieci performed live recently at MUTEK in Montreal and Berlin Atonal,” and is loosely based on the gravitational pull of Mars and the eventual destruction this will spell for one of its orbiting moons.

Slated to arrive in mid-October, album cut “Life on Laputa Regio” is available to stream below, where a tracklist has also been included.

Berlin transplant Paula Temple resurfaced last year with the Colonized EP, an outing that served as the producer’s first release since 2006 and her debut on the venerable R&S imprint. Now, Temple has announced plans to return to R&S next month with the three-track Deathvox EP.

“I wanted to create a sonic movement completely transhuman, captivating, and capable of tingling every chakra in the body,” Temple (who also runs the Noise Manifesto imprint) explains of the EP in a press release, in which the label goes on to describe Deathvox as an “uncompromising release” that finds the experienced producer “bringing together her love of post-punk, industrial noise, and synthesizers” while she “broadens her scope of the techno spectrum.” At the moment, R&S has not shared any audio samples to give us a better idea of what all that means, but in the meantime, the full tracklist and artowrk for Paula Temple’s forthcoming Deathvox EP have been included below; the record will see its official release on October 28.

Former Bubblin’ Up artist and longtime bass player for adventurous indie rock outfit Vampire Weekend, Chris Baio (or simply Baio) will return later this month with a new EP for Australian label Club Mod. The On&On&On&On/Missive EP appears set to again find Baio delivering a collection of warm, summer-tinged track, with the EP’s accompanying press release describing the record as “melodic dance music that appeals as much to the head as it does the heart and hips.” In addition to the two original cuts slated to appear on the EP will be remixes from in-demand Swede HNNY as well as London producer Neville Watson.

Before Baio’s latest effort drops in digital and vinyl forms on September 29, lead cut “On&On&On&On” is streaming in full below, where the record’s full tracklist has also been included.

Burgeoning Cardiff DJ/production duo Bodhi will release its Satisfaction EP later this month via Exploited, and have today shared a preview stream of the effort’s three soul-washed productions. Bodhi’s upcoming outing will follow the pair’s I Need You EP, which dropped earlier this year via Doc Daneeka’s 10 Thousand Yen imprint. In a somewhat similar vein to that release, Bodhi’s turn for Exploited appears focused on lively house music, with each track coming flushed with percussion and steeped in layers of soul and funk.

Following an announcement last week, Red Bull Music Academy has debuted the first installment of its new documentary series, Diggin’ in the Carts, which explores “the secret history of Japanese video game music.” Flying Lotus, Anamanaguchi, Mobb Deep’s Havoc, veteran LA DJ J-Rocc, and Hyperdub founder Kode9 all feature in the initial episode of the series, which reportedly taps artists whose musical tastes and interests were shaped by early exposure to video game music. The six-part series arrives ahead of RBMA’s upcoming 2014 session in Tokyo, Japan, and future episodes will reportedly feature Thundercat, Dizzee Rascal, Just Blaze, and Ladyhawke, among others. Episode 1, “The Rise of VGM,” can be watched in full below.
