Longtime DFA affiliate Nancy Whang has lent her signature vocals to projects like The Juan MacLean and LCD Soundsystem, as well as tracks by Soulwax and Classixx, but she has yet to properly step out as an artist in her own right. Her forthcoming collection for German house outfit Gomma offers a step in that direction, as Whang has teamed up with a variety of producers to rework classic disco tracks originally released on the legendary Casablanca label. Each of the six updated versions features a different collaborator, from The Revenge on Parliament’s “Flashlight” to Audiojack on Dennis Parker’s “Like An Eagle.” Due out on September 12, The Nancy Whang Casablanca Reworks will also include a fresh take on Whang’s “I Was Made For Loving You” single with Drop Out Orchestra, which is itself a cover of the famous Kiss song. Earlier this summer, Manchester’s The Warehouse Project shared the news that it would be returning to its “spiritual home” this year before marking its 10-year anniversary in 2015. This September, the party series will be setting up shop at the storied Store Street venue (which once served as an air raid shelter under Piccadilly station) for 12 weeks, and the organizers have just unveiled the full season line-up. Kicking off with an opener headlined by Seth Troxler, Carl Craig, Jackmaster, and Mr. Ties, this year’s schedule includes nights curated and/or hosted by the likes of Four Tet and Caribou, Maya Jane Coles, Dusky, and Jamie xx and Jon Hopkins. Richie Hawtin’s ENTER residency and the Innervisions outfit will also anchor parties, and many of electronic music’s most recognizable heavy hitters will be making appearances throughout the season. Last year, John Talabot‘s Hivern Discs issued “It’s All Over” as an anonymous Blanc series single, which was later revealed to be the work of Madrid-based producer and frequent collaborator Pional when a rework by Belgian producer and Hotflush affiliate Locked Groove surfaced on Talabot’s DJ Kicks mix. The label is now poised to reissue the track (which originally circulated as a vinyl-only limited release) alongside the Locked Groove version and two remixes from Talabot himself. In his first remix for his own imprint in five years, Talabot “maintains the gloomy vibe of the original track but strips down its elements, adding an extra bassline and spooky melodies to boost its dancefloor appeal.”

It’s All Over Remixes is slated for official release on August 4. The digital package will also include an alternate title track version by Pional and an extra “Stormbreak Refix” from Talabot, which is available to stream and download in full below, where we’ve also posted the record’s full tracklist.

The follow-up to SBTRKT‘s well-received self-titled debut LP is officially on its way. Entitled Wonder Where We Land, details are currently in short supply for the upcoming album, but the London producer has shared the record’s artwork (pictured above) along with an artsy teaser video for the LP, which can be watched below.

In addition, a radio rip of album track “New Dorp, New York”—which features the vocals of Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig—surfaced earlier today. Described by SBTRKT himself as a “funny tune, in a way,” the radio rip of “New Dorp, New York” can be heard via the player below while we await the full details for the UK artist’s forthcoming sophomore full-length. Today sees the release of NYC transplant Huerco S.‘ A Verdigris Reader EP via Anthony Naples’ Proibito label, and to mark the occasion, a stream of the EP’s simply titled “B1” track has surfaced. Operating as H.S. on the four-track effort, A Verdigris Reader serves as Huerco S.’ second outing for Proibito, having inaugurated the imprint last year with an EP under his Royal Crown of Sweden moniker.

Moving from buzzing textures to water-logged chords across its seven-minute, drum machine-fueled run, H.S.’ “B1” is streaming in full below while the A Verdigris Reader EP is out now.

After announcing Flying Lotus’ upcoming LP for the label earlier today, Warp has now unveiled plans to drop a new EP from UK beatmaker Hudson Mohawke, sharing a stream of the record’s title track in the process.

Mohawke’s Chimes EP will land on September 29, boasting three new solo productions from the Glasgow artist who has spent much of the time following his 2011 Satin Panthers EP collaborating with a number of artists, most notably with Lunice as TNGHT and alongside unpredictable rapper/producer Kanye West. Before Mohawke’s next solo effort lands, the EP’s title cut, “Chimes,” can be streamed in full below, where the forthcoming record’s tracklist has also been included.

Delroy Edwards’ L.A. Club Resource imprint—which was recently featured in LA Story, our in-depth report on Los Angeles’ burgeoning underground house and techno scenes—has added a new 12″ to its catalog today in the form of the four-track Dirge EP from San Francisco producer Skander. On the new effort, the California artist (who co-owns SF’s newly established RS94109 record shop), is said to offer “raw and dark West Coast techno.” Serving as our first taste, Skander’s “Dirge 1” can be streamed in full below where the complete tracklist for L.A. Club Resource’s newest EP can also be found.

With the release of its second 10th anniversary compilation this week (one of five planned to drop this year), the Hyperdub label is set to continue celebrating its decade-long run with a North American tour this September. Beginning in New York, the tour will bring Kode9, Scratcha DVA, DJ Spinn, and newcomer Taso to most all of its upcoming North American dates, with Ikonika and DJ Earl set to appear at a select few events, while dubstep kingpin Mala will join the crew for a special show in New York City.
