Kuna Maze is young producer from Lyon, France. A trumpet player who has been influenced heavily by the LA Beat Scene, and artists such as Flying Lotus, Weather Report, and Sun Ra, Kuna Maze showcases a knack for dissipating, balmy beats with a space-like and euphonious downtempo sentiment. In support of his sophomore EP, Postpone, which arrives on April 8 via Cascade Records, Kuna Maze has kindly offered up the cut “Still Dry (feat. Koji)” as an XLR8R download.
Driven by a comatose harmonic melody and contiguous vocals from Koji, the various loose track elements are wrapped up together perfectly by the neck-snapping, brisk, and yet torpid drum arrangement.
