Ahead of its release next week, Flying Lotus has revealed plans to broadcast a full stream of his upcoming You’re Dead! LP beginning later today. Set to launch at 2 pm PST (or 5 pm EST/ 10 pm UK/ 11 pm EU), those eager to hear FlyLo’s forthcoming fifth studio album can do so by heading here, where—in conjunction with Boiler Room—the Los Angeles artist will broadcast a full stream of his forthcoming LP for Warp for exactly 24 hours.

The day before he and his wife were set to move across the country to New York, Seattle producer/sound designer Rafael Anton Irisarri (a.k.a. The Sight Below) woke up to his worst nightmare, the U-Haul truck into which he and his spouse had packed all of their belongings—including $50,000 worth of studio equipment—was stolen. Now, the Ghostly label has launched a campaign to help Irisarri begin to rebuild his studio and get back to making music. To raise funds, the label has launched an Indiegogo campaign which offers a number of intriguing packages to those who contribute, such as vinyl and CD bundles, access to The Sight Below’s full Ghostly catalog, and—for one person with $2,000 to spare—a remix from Telefon Tel Aviv’s Joshua Eustis. Veteran Baltimore DJ/producer and XLR8R podcast alumni Karizma will release the second volume in his ongoing Beats & Bops series via his own R2 label later this month. The upcoming release continues the producer’s series of “raw beats and basement edits” with two new tracks, “Klearkut” and “Earth These Beats,” with the former being described as “part-house, afro, tech…with multi-textured percussive and melodic stabs,” while the latter is said to see Karizma “return to beat-workout-tool territory with this 10-minute exploration of the many ways to flip a beat.”

The longstanding Stateside talent’s Beats & Bops Vol. 2 effort will see a digital release on October 27. Before then, both “Klearkut” and “Earth These Beats” can be previewed below.

Paula Temple has shared a stream of “Ful,” a dense, unrelenting track from her upcoming Deathvox EP for R&S. Announced early last month, Temple’s forthcoming outing is said to stem from the Berlin-based producer’s desire to create “a sonic movement completely transhuman, captivating, and capable of tingling every chakra in the body.” With its thudding kick drum, engrossing textures, and slightly sinister undertones, “Ful” seems to indicate that Deathvox may be well on its way to accomplishing that task; the track can be streamed in full below before Temple’s new EP lands on October 28 via R&S.

Out next week via fast-growing London label Houndstooth, the debut LP from Second Storey (formerly known as Al Tourettes) is now streaming in full. Entitled Double Divide, the 10-track LP has been described by its maker as an effort that is “texturally rich” and “melodically focused,” with its productions taking on a variety of hybrid forms as some of its cuts clearly lean towards the dancefllor while others come steeped in electronic experimentation.

Second Storey’s upcoming debut album can be streamed in full below before the record sees its official release via Houndstooth on October 6.

How to Dress Well has enlisted a handful of producers to reinterpret tracks from his third official full-length, “What Is This Heart?”, released earlier this year via the Weird World label. Set to be included on the record is Donky Pitch affiliate The Range and Mixpak associate Dubbel Dutch, whose reworks will be joined by those of PC Music flag-bearer A.G. Cook (who partnered with SOPHIE on the recent QT project) and Swiss-born, Vancouver-based producer Cyril Hahn.

The four-track “What Is This Heart?” Remixes EP will land via Weird World on October 27; in the meantime, Dubbel Dutch’s take on “Very Best Friend” is streaming in full below, where the record’s complete tracklist can also be found.

A new LP from Profligate will mark the 300th release from California outpost Not Not Fun. Headed by LA Vampires‘ Amanda and Britt Brown, the imprint has been in operation for a little over a decade, in which time it’s overseen releases from the likes of Torn Hawk, Maria Minerva, Moon Wheel, and Golden Donna (while spurring on the cassette-tape renaissance), and spawned a sister label, 100% Silk. As Resident Advisor reports, Profligate’s forthcoming Finding the Floor LP finds Philadelphia experimentalist Noah Anthony coupling techno with post-punk song structures; the album is set to land sometime next month, and LP cut “Girl Full of Joy” can be heard in full below, where we’ve also included a full tracklist.

Shriekin will release his first full EP via UK outpost Local Action later this month. An emerging London-based grime producer, he’s found a recent home in Boxed, the much talked-about instrumental grime night where scene figureheads Slackk, Logos, Oil Gang, and Mr. Mitch are fixtures. Shriekin’s forthcoming Gold and Featherwork EP reportedly showcases not only “grime’s potential as cinematic music that can exist outside clubs and pirate radio ciphers,” but also the “vision and imagination that sets Shrekin aside from his peers.”

Set for release on October 13, EP cut “Steel Ships” can be heard in advance below, and the trailer for Gold and Featherwork is on view here. Shriekin will also take part in Crazylegs’ 6th birthday tour this month alongside the likes of Mumdance, Deadboy, and more; more info on dates here.
