Michael Dodman (a.k.a. Huxley) will drop The Machine EP via Will Saul’s Aus label on Monday, but before then the UK DJ/producer has shared a full stream of “Machina,” a vocal-led cut set to appear on the upcoming effort.

On “Machina,” Huxley—a former XLR8Rpodcast contributor—begins in somewhat familiar territory, piecing together a dense and moody slice of deep-reaching house. After building the basis of his track, Huxley then begins to introduce the vocals of Jack Wilby, whose soulful crooning eventually leads the bass-loaded club tune’s latter half. “Machina” can be streamed in full below before The Machine EP lands on July 21, serving as a taste of Blurred, Huxley’s forthcoming album for Aus which will see a release in October.

In what’s shaping up to be an annual tradition, Ben Sims (pictured above) and Kirk Degiorgio are set to return to Machine imprint—the label which the pair co-founded as a continuation of their London-based parties by the same name—once again with the Machine 03 EP. The release finds the veteran producers each contributing two original cuts to the effort. On the a-side, Sims (who recently announced the conclusion of his long-running Theory imprint) delivers his signature blend of driving techno and acid-led stomp, while on the flip, Degiorgio offers two slow burners that have reportedly been in heavy rotation since last year.

Machine 03 is slated for a vinyl release on August 4 with a digital release to follow, and while no previews are available as of yet, the record’s artwork and tracklist have been included below. Sims’ exclusive XLR8R podcast is also still up for grabs, and can be found here.

The duo of DJ Haus and DJ Q debuted as Trumpet & Badman last summer, with four Jersey-swung, organ-fueled house numbers on the Love Keeps Changing EP. Now the pair is set to return with another collection of summer dancefloor tunes on the simply titled EP 2. “This one is pretty simple,” Trumpet & Badman recently told FACT, “It’s hot, we like to party in the hot weather… so heres some music to party to in the hot weather. BE SAFE OUT THERE PEOPLE!” As a result, DJ Haus and DJ Q have packed their second collaborative effort with a bevy of jacking house rhythms and tough basslines, on top of which they place rich piano chords, darkened organ stabs, and a good deal of tastefully chopped vocals.

Set to see a release on August 4 via Unknown to the Unknown/Hot Haus, Trumpet and Badman’s EP 2 is streaming below.

London-based DJ/producer Brackles (a.k.a. Rob Kemp) has been tapped for the latest edition of the i AM podcast series. The Rinse FM regular came to prominence as part of the UK funky scene, and created a potent variant of the style that incorporates classic strains of UK garage. This new 40-minute recording finds him leaning on those sounds once again, as it largely consists of vintage slices of garage. The mix can be streamed and downloaded below, where a full tracklist has also been included.

Seattle producer Lusine (a.k.a. Jeff McIlwain) has shared a detailed stop-motion video for “Arterial,” the title cut from his upcoming EP for Ghostly. Accompanying the intricately textured, mid-tempo track is an enveloping clip directed by Christophe Thockler which takes a tight focus on the world of electronic components, streaking red paint around capacitors, resistors, and microchips throughout the tune’s four-plus-minute run. The full video for “Arterial” can be watched below before Lusine’s latest EP sees its official release on August 5.

This week, the Donky Pitch label revealed details of its next release, the debut full-length from Chicago producer David Beltran (a.k.a. Starfoxxx). Now, a stream of the LP’s first full track, “Our Bodies,” has leaked. Appearing in the first half of the 12-track album, “Our Bodies” finds Beltran crafting a blissful production that laces a simple beat with delay-strewn bell chords, gliding synths, and—in the track’s closing minutes—a rising arpeggio sequence.

Starfoxxx’s Baby I’m Off Drugs and I’m Ready to Marry You is out on August 18; in the meantime, LP cut “Our Bodies” is streaming in full below.
