Multi-faceted UK producer Shifted will issue Arrangements in Monochrome through his own Avian label next month. While the two-part EP was not originally conceived as a full-length work, a press release suggests that parts One and Two be viewed as a single entity, with Brewer adding that both serve as an addendum to Under a Single Banner—his last release under the Shifted alias, which was issued through Dominick Fernow’s Bed of Nails imprint last November. “I was very happy with that record but always felt that perhaps there were some things left unsaid,” he says. “The technical process involved this time around was quite different, but it shares a lot of the same colors and textures.”

Arrangements in Monochrome arrives on December 1, and while no previews have been shared as of yet, both EPs’ tracklists and artwork (created by Jesse Draxler) have been posted below.

Borris Bunnik has detailed a white label release as Conforce for Transcendent, his fledgling imprint established as an platform for “deep and abstract mental sound excursions.” The Dutch producer’s forthcoming Travelogue EP reportedly continues in the vein of aqueous techno charted in earlier efforts for labels like Delsin, Rush Hour, and Clone. This latest effort is set to see an official release on December 1 in vinyl and digital formats, but until then, clips for all four atmospheric cuts can be previewed below, where we’ve also posted the EP’s tracklist.

San Francisco’s Dark Entries label (who we took a closer look at in a recent Get Familiar feature) has announced plans to issue its first remix EP, enlisting the likes of Silent Servant and John Tejada to rework Psychic TV‘s 1989 acid-house track “Alien Be-In.”

A group founded by Throbbing Gristle members Genesis P-Orridge and Peter Christopherson following the band’s break-up in 1981, Psychic TV is said to have crafted “Alien Be-In” using an “E-mu Emax Sampler and an Alesis MMT-8 sequencer” which combine with “vocal samples… from a tape American investigative reporter Don Bolles sent to Genesis.” For its upcoming remix EP, Dark Entries will present a remastered version of the original track along with a new “Mono Mix” from Psychic TV member Fred Giannelli. On the record’s b-side will be Los Angeles techno maven Silent Servant’s remix of the track along with an additional collaborative remix from Silent Servant and John Tejada.

Ahead of the Alien Be-In Remix 12″ record’s official release on January 13 (of next year), Silent Servant’s solo contribution to the effort can be streamed in full below.

Prolific UK producer and Unknown to the Unknown label head DJ Haus will return to his own label in the coming weeks with the “Comin’ On” single, for which a new video has surfaced today. Put together by Born & Borgesius, the clip pairs DJ Haus’ stomping, bass-heavy track (there’s also a few acid lines and bird noises to be head in there as well) with images of virtual space, blurry dance moves, and satellites, which all appear within an ever-evolving frame of vibrant colors and shapes.

Officially out on November 17, the full video for “Comin’ On” can be watched below, where the artwork and tracklist for DJ Haus’ forthcoming 12″ can also be found.

After launching its Mixware series earlier this month with Napolian’s Road to Incursio mixtape, NYC label Software has today issued its second such release in the form of Video Plot, a new outing from experimental A/V duo Sculpture. For its Mixware release the pair of Dan Hayhurst and Reuben Sutherland have turned in 40 minutes worth of adventurous electronics said to be compiled from recordings of Sculpture’s live performances captured around the release of its Membrane Pop album earlier this year.

Video Plots‘ 40 minutes of audio also comes accompanied by a fittingly experimental stream of images, which can be watched below; Sculpture’s Mixware contribution is currently free to download in full from Software’s Bandcamp page.

Jacques Greene has had a busy week—the New York-via-Montreal producer turned in a new mix on Monday before revealing his upcoming After Life After Party EP for LuckyMe and sharing a video for EP cut “1 4 Me” the following day. Now, Greene has surfaced again with a new video which finds him performing his latest single live using an array of hardware.

Serving as the latest installment of Resident Advisor‘s RA Sessions video series, Greene commands an Elektron Octatrack, a Teenage Engineering OP-1 synth, a mixing board and a handful of pedals in order to bring his moody “1 4 Me” track to life. The full video—which comes just ahead of the producer’s upcoming North American live tour—can be watched below.

Coinciding with the release of 21 Again—an anniversary collection from leading German experimental duo Mouse on Mars—groupmember Jan St. Werner has shared details of a forthcoming solo effort for Thrill Jockey. Reportedly conceived over a period of four years, Miscontinuum Album is the third entry into St. Werner’s conceptual Fiepblatter series, and was originally created for a live opera performance in Munich; Markus Popp of Oval, who also works with St. Werner as Microstoria, composed the libretti. (Other artists featured on the record include Dylan Carlson of doom unit Earth, Kathy Alberici of psychedelic juggernaut Drum Eyes, and Taigen Kawabe of Bo Ningen.) According to a press release, “The surreal plot involves a progressive distinction of time as a force rather than a structuring system, and an individual who can shift consciously between states within that force.”

St. Werner’s Miscontinuum Album will see an official release on January 27, with a revised version of the work to be performed at St Luke’s Church in London on February 8, 2015.
