Giegling Slips Out Traumprinz EP

A new Traumprinz EP is being dripped into record stores.

Over the past couple of years, the Giegling artist’s output has only come out via his DJ Metatron alias. The most recent Traumprinz record hit stores back in 2014.

News has filtered through from various sources over the weekend, that Traumprinz has returned with a four-track EP. According to Discogs users it is available in-store in Hard Wax, while one Instagram user posted a picture of the record in Rush Hour. It appears to be a strictly offline release at this point and is yet to hit the Giegling online store.

All of the tracks on Giegling 06 are mixed by Kasha—a mysterious name that has been cited on earlier Traumprinz live recordings.

Tracklisting:

A1. Good Vibrations (Kasha’s Main Vocal Mix)
A2. Good Vibrations (Kasha’s Instrumental Mix)
B1. N.Y. Diva Has Been Set On Fire (Kasha’s Short Vocal Mix)
B2. Set Your – Dyin’ (Kasha’s Bad Romance Short Mix)

Ex Reyes ‘Bad Timing’ (WILLS Remix)

Do Something is the debut EP by Ex Reyes, the psych-soul project by Brooklyn-based musician Mikey Freedom Hart.

The EP was recorded over the past 5 years in hotel rooms, sheds, and studios around the world while working as a session musician and collaborator to, among others, Bleachers (Jack Antonoff), Santigold, The Cranberries, Sia, Mike D, Albert Hammond Jr., Adam Green, Sinkane, and Dam Funk. Do Something exists in the realm of pop music, but like Ex Reyes contemporaries mentioned above, its six tracks are of the warped and psychedelic variety.

Ahead of the EP’s November 4 release date, Ex Reyes has offered up WILLS‘ remix of EP cut “Bad Timing” as today’s XLR8R download. The fellow New York artist takes Ex Reyes’ original and buries it in textured atmospheres, offering a deeper and weirder interpretation, but one with just as much subtle beauty.

You can download WILLS’ remix via WeTransfer below.
