London label Local Action has revealed plans to release the debut LP from newcomer Yamaneko. Comprised of 13 tracks, the Pixel Wave Embrace LP will serve as Yamaneko’s first official release, though his tunes have reportedly found favor in sets from the likes of Mumdance, Logos, and others over the past 12 months. Said to “deal in illusions” and look to water as a “prominent influence,” Pixel Wave Embrace melds facets of instrumental grime production with nods towards new-age and meditative electronic music.

Set to arrive on November 24, Yamaneko’s debut full-length is preceded by a full stream of beatless album cut “Noises in the Wave Wires Like the Kissing of the Sea,” which can be found below along with Pixel Wave Embrace‘s complete tracklist.

Having recently revived his Amen Andrews alias for an upcoming EP on FaltyDL’s Blueberry imprint and issued the first 12″ from his Halloween series (the second record is slated to land in December), veteran UK producer/DJ Luke Vibert has been tapped to deliver the latest installment in headphone designer AIAIAI‘s ongoing mix series. Covering 14 tracks, the newly shared session touches on electro, acid, a good deal of jungle, and even some dub over the course of its hour-long run. “[I] started it with LFO as a mark of respect for Mark,” Vibert tells AIAIAI of the mix. “After that, I just played around until it all sounded OK… was in a junglist mood, as you can hear.”

Set to close out Gerry Read‘s forthcoming3, 2, 1 EP for Aus, Nathan Fake‘s (pictured above) remix of the enigmatic producer can now be streamed in full. A bass-heavy effort in its original form, Fake reshapes “3, 2, 1” into a more fractured endeavor, one which pushes the track’s gnarling bassline beneath a broken beat and—eventually—the type of thick, intertwining synth assemblages the Border Community mainstay can often be found incorporating into his productions.

Nathan Fake’s remix of Gerry Read can be streamed below before the latter producer’s 3, 2, 1 EP officially lands on November 17 via Aus.

Stefan Ringer has been tapped to deliver the fourth release for newly minted (and until now, edits-only) label The Love Below, an offshoot of the Berlin/London outpost somethinksounds. The rising Stateside producer and beat craftsman has been operating under the alias REKchampa over the past few years, racking up a cassette release for Harsh Riddims and an appearance on The Love Below’s V/A compilation with Elphinio and Seven Davis Jr. Ringer’s forthcoming Relate EP features three original slices of so-called “soul electronica,” with a refix from fellow Atlanta artist Kai Alce as KZR. (Ringer’s The Fix EP will see a release later this month via Alce’s own NDATL Muzik imprint.)

Relate will see an official release on December 1, and while previews have yet to surface, we’ve included the record’s artwork and tracklist below.

Beautiful Swimmers—the duo of Future Times co-head Andrew Field Pickering (a.k.a. Maxmillion Dunbar) and Ari Goldman—will supply a 12″ for People’s Potential Unlimited. While the label got its start as a self-described specialist of ’70s and ’80s funk, Juno Plus notes PPU head Andrew Morgan’s more recent efforts to introduce new music and artists into the fray. Beautiful Swimmers’ anticipated “Sleepyhead” b/w “Dunk” single joins records from Legowelt, Pender Street Steppers, and RX (the project of Delroy Edwards and Benedek), and follows from the pair’s 2013 debut album on Future Times, plus a handful of Max D edits for PPU.

While no official release date for “Sleepyhead” b/w “Dunk” has been shared as of yet, both tracks on the release have been made available to preview below; a recent XLR8R podcast from Maximillion Dunbar, meanwhile, can be streamed and downloaded here.

Barcelona-based producer Sau Poler has shared details of his sophomore EP for Atomnation, the Dutch label headed by Applescal that oversaw Poler’s debut outing last year. Following from A Soundless Echo, this latest effort assembles five so-called “minimal house audio vignettes” said to take their cues from such frontrunners as Four Tet, Aphex Twin, and Boards of Canada. Paradoxes of Progress arrives as a digital release on December 2, with a vinyl run to follow starting around December 16. Until then, EP cut “Non Plus Ultra”—offering a melodic take on two-step—has been made available to stream below, where the record’s tracklist and a handful of European tour dates with Chet Faker have also been included.

Longstanding UK vocalist/producer Steve Spacek (who also serves as half of the Africa Hitech duo alongside Mark Pritchard) has revealed details of an upcoming LP for Ninja Tune. Entitled Modern Streets, the album will find Spacek operating under the name Beat Spacek and—according to Ninja Tune’s website—was largely created using iPhone and iPad apps. A 13-track, genre-blurring endeavor, Ninja Tune goes on to further describe the record as “a journey through the evolution of modern Britain from a futurist perspective.”

Set to arrive on January 26 of next year, our first taste of the album comes in the form of “I Wanna Know,” the LP’s somewhat frenetic lead cut which features many layers of Spacek’s raspy vocals. In addition to a full stream of Beat Spacek’s new effort, the complete tracklist for Modern Streets can also be found below.
