Announced earlier this month, Canadian artist Teen Daze‘s month-long European tour launches tonight in Milan, and is set to take him through Paris, Athens, London, Berlin, Madrid, and beyond. The synth-pop specialist is celebrating the occasion, too, giving away a three-track EP to fans of his dreamy electronic concoctions no matter where in the world they live. Called Paradiso, Teen Daze’s new offering focuses on a self-described “slow, repetitive, and meditative” sound; the opening title track definitely takes a more linear, atmospheric approach, but much wilder moments pop up all over “YVR.” It all makes for a surprisingly varied and dynamic listen across three solid productions.

With new DJ sessions from Untold and Luke Vibert already making their way around the web already (more info on those here and here, respectively), it appears to be a mix-heavy Monday, as new sets from Bicep, Krystal Klear, and LA upstart Cromie have also been made available for download today.

Firstly, UK duo Bicep (pictured above) has been tapped to deliver the latest mix for Little White Earbuds‘ podcast series. The pair’s 70-plus-minute set dives into equally cosmic and classic sounds, and though it does not appear with an accompanying tracklist, an in-depth interview with the Bicep boys does come with the new session. Next up: In anticipation of his upcoming set at London’s Fabric nightclub on April 4, Manchester DJ/producer Krystal Klear has delivered 80 minutes of percussion- and shuffle-heavy house on a new mix. Again, no tracklist was given to coincide with the set, but Krystal Klear’s full collection of floor-friendly grooves can be streamed and downloaded via the player below.

And lastly, A Club Called Rhonda resident and recent Artist to Watch (alongside his frequent partner Sage Caswell) Cromie drops off the second installment of NYC label Peach‘s newly minted mix series. Incorporating tracks from Pepe Bradock, Suzanne Kraft, Anthony Naples, and Damiano Von Erckert, along with a few of his own productions, LA producer/DJ Cromie’s Peach Club Mix 002 can be streamed and download below, where its tracklist is also included.

The annual Together festival will return to Boston and Cambridge this year to host a series of events at various venues, and has just revealed its first wave of artists scheduled to perform. The eight-day affair will feature international talent such as Underground Resistance co-founder Robert Hood (pictured above), Hessle Audio’s Pearson Sound, Yasiin Bey (a.k.a. Mos Def), German pop-house artist Tensnake, Julio Bashmore, Daniel Avery, and the mysterious SOPHIE, among many others. Together’s fifth annual celebration will take place between May 11 and May 18, tickets for which can be perused here; the lineup announced so far is available here.

With the release of his Deleted/Fool EP for Friends of Friends just a few weeks behind him, recent XLR8R podcast contributor Jerome LOL has elected to give away a new track, “Feel It for the First Time.” Described by the producer as a “fun pop song,” the new effort is a mellow reinterpretation of Steve Aoki’s and Afrojack’s bombastic “No Beef” track, placing generously re-pitched vocals amongst a backdrop of thick chords, quirky melodies, and Jerome LOL’s familiar bed of swinging hats and snares.

Every summer, the European continent is absolutely littered with festivals, but even in a crowded marketplace, it’s safe to say that there is no event that really compares to Freerotation. The three-day festival, which takes place in the Welsh countryside, maintains a strict limited capacity, but that doesn’t stop organizers from putting together absolutely stuffed line-ups that have been specifically geared toward fans of forward electronic sounds. The first names of Freerotation’s 2014 festival were announced today, and this year’s edition looks to be another can’t-miss experience. More names will be added in the weeks and months ahead, but the initial blast of performers includes Karenn (pictured above), Voices from the Lake, Martyn, Midland, Juju & Jordash, Move D, Shackleton, Objekt, Joey Anderson, Livity Sound, South London Ordnance, Hessle Audio (feat. Pearson Sound, Ben UFO, and Pangaea), Tama Sumo, Hodge, Trade (feat. Surgeon and Blawan), Jus-Ed, Conforce, Portable, and numerous others. The festival is set to take place from July 11-13 at Baskerville Hall, and tickets are once again available to members only. As of today, a small batch of tickets is available to members who have previously attended two Freerotations. Membership will reportedly be opened again in early April—at which point existing members will be able invite new ones—but further details about that process have yet to be announced.

In the wake of Black Light Spiral, Untold‘s recent debut LP, the shapeshifting UK producer and Hemlock label boss has dropped off a new mix of appropriately confounding electronics. Coming without a tracklist, Untold’s new set for The FADER gathers an hour’s worth of rattling, distortion-lined techno, with a few original productions and some heavy-handed sonic abstractions thrown in for good measure. The man’s uncompromising new mix can be streamed and downloaded in full below; The FADER‘s accompanying interview with Untold, which helps gives some context to the clever quip featured on the mix’s artwork, can be found here.

Following last year’s Between Two Selves LP, Brooklyn-based house producer and one-time XLR8R podcast contributor Octo Octa has just unveiled a new 12″ titled “Where Did You Go?” b/w “Through The Haze.” Focusing his “effervescent sound to a harder, more floor-focused edge,” the artist’s forthcoming record boasts techno-fueled rhythms, and is packed full of lurid synths washing over the compositions. Set to drop on April 22 via Argot, “Where Did You Go?” b/w “Through The Haze” will mark Octo Octa’s first release not issued via LA-based imprint 100% Silk, and can be previewed in the player below.
