Argentinian producer Pedro Canale (a.k.a. Chancha Via Circuito) has revelaed the details of his upcoming third full-length record, which will see its release next month via the Wonderwheel label. Originally coming out of Buenos Aires’ fertile digital cumbia scene and serving as an impactful member of the city’s ZZK collective/label, Canale will continue to evolve his craft on Amansara, an outing said to find the producer forging “unprecedented mergers between Brazilian rhythms, Paraguayan harp, Andean mysticism, and the solitude of Argentinian folklore… all processed through his own futuristic style of post-dubstep.” Set to drop on September 23, Canale’s third solo album will offer 10 new tracks alongside “Coplita,” which was first released as a 7″ single earlier this year.

Ahead of its release, the tracklist for Chancha Via Circuito’s forthcoming Amansara LP has been included below along with the starry video for the aforementioned “Coplita” single. Furthermore, a full stream of LP cut “Jardines” can currently be heard over on the Wonderwheel label’s Bandcamp page.

Brooklyn producer Ital‘s third full-length effort for Planet Mu, Endgame, is set to arrive next month. Ahead of its release, LP cut “Whispers in the Dark” is now streaming in full. Appearing as part of an interview with Juno Plus, Ital’s newest track takes shape as a dark voyage intro refracted dancefloor electronics, focusing on thick pads that ooze out from behind deep, pulsing kicks and an array of echoing percussion tones.

Ital’s eight-minute “Whispers in the Dark” production can be heard over on Juno Plus, where a lengthy interview with Ital can also be found; the NYC artist’s Endgame LP lands via Planet Mu on September 8.

One of the newest members of the Ghostly label’s roster, New York native Chester Raj Anand (a.k.a. Lord Raja) will issue his debut LP this winter. Titled A Constant Moth, the 12-track album will showcase Anand’s “hyper-detailed” production style, which is said to find him splicing together “classic hip-hop [with] vintage IDM, ambient, footwork, and experimental sound design.” The LP follows Lord Raja’s free-to-downloadRubies EP (which dropped via Ghostly early last year), as well as Anand’s beat-centric work under his former InfinitiRock alias.

Set to arrive on December 2, the lead single from Lord Raja’s A Constant Moth LP, “Darwin,” can be streamed in full below, where the upcoming record’s full tracklist has also been included.

Following the recent news that electronic pioneer Aphex Twin was preparing to drop his first new album in 13 years, a series of limited-capacity listening events has been announced. Beginning next Friday, fans in select cities throughout North America and Europe will be invited to try their luck in a lottery granting access to one of these events, which offer the opportunity to hear Aphex Twin’s much anticipated Syro LP in its entirety before it arrives via UK label Warp on September 23.

Events will be held in London, New York City, LA, Chicago, Toronto, Paris, Brussels, and Utrecht. The RSVP ticket lottery begins on Sunday, August 31 at 4 am PST (that is, at 7 am EST, 12 pm GMT, and 1 pm CET), and closes on Tuesday, September 2 at midnight in each time zone. Newcomer Shanti Celeste has shared details of an upcoming 12″ for Julio Bashmore’s Broadwalk label. Though born in Chile, Celeste came up in the Bristol scene, so her recent signing to Bashmore’s locally grown Broadwalk outpost seems a natural step. Universal Glow will follow releases for BRSTL (which she co-heads alongside Chris Farrell) and the Idle Hands imprint, and is set to arrive on September 8. Previews for all three of the EP’s crystalline house tracks can be heard below.

Ahead of the Red Bull Music Academy‘s fast-approaching 2014 session in Tokyo, Japan, the academy has unveiled plans to launch Diggin’ in the Carts, a documentary series that will “explore the secret history of Japanese video game music.” The six-part series is said to examine “a new chapter in the evolution of video game music with each episode,” and will include commentary from producers such as Flying Lotus, Kode9, Ikonika, Fatima Al Qadiri, and others whose musical tastes and interests were shaped by an early exposure to video game music.

The first episode of Diggin’ in the Carts is set to land on September 4, but before then, an intriguing trailer for the series can be watched below.
